David, I could watch your painting videos for hours. In fact, I do. Your videos are inspiring. As a beginner, I try to follow your techniques but find it similar to watching Eddie Van Halen play guitar and then trying to mimic his technique. I simply cannot reproduce what you do. You make it look so easy, so "casual" as you put it. But the truth is, you are a seasoned pro and I am not. After trying to mimic even your most simple rose techniques, I completely failed. My rose looked like a blotchy, fuzzy mess. What you can do so easily baffles me. I find myself completely lost and even frustrated, trying not to listen to that voice that says, "Why are you trying to do something that is supposed to relax you at the end of the day and find it so frustrating that you want to give up painting altogether?" Do you have a 100% begginer rose painting video that I can do with just two colors? All of the blending and finger smoothing becomes so repetitive that I find myself repainting over the same areas again and again and ending up with a mess. If there was just one simple rose video that I could practice, perhaps that would allow me to at least gain a little confidence, create just one decent rose painting that I could build upon. Thank you for your videos. They are the best I have seen on the Internet. I just want to be able to somewhat mimic what you do instead of just be entertained by watching an expert create something that I (so far) can only observe.

Without question the most thorough discussion on acrylic paint in general. Then u go into all the constituents that make up a paint. I'm a pharmacist by profession. I thought I was back in school. "Pills" have fillers binders etc..too. My only complaint. I have oil paints. Looking forward to giving it a go. Ty

It amazes me how you can see its form before it's painted. I see the brush strokes and think, how is that going to make it look like the desired object? but then all of a sudden, it's perfect and I see it.

Hi David, Thank you so much for fantastic videos here on YT. I love them and learn a lot from you 🙏😁 Is there a cold orange or a cooler orange in acrylics and oils? I already searched at brands like Golden Heavy Body, W&N, Old Holland, etc… but I couldn't find any. Unfortunately I can’t order your brand of paint because super high taxes and douane costs in my Country.
